Feature & Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.
This weeks question: What is the BIGGEST word you've seen used in a book lately - that made you stop and look it up? Might as well leave the definition & book too.
Well. I can't think of anything. The book I'm currently reading is on my Kindle anyway so if I don't know a word, I'll just look it up, BUT (the "but" is always key) I did get a list of vocab words today in English and there was one that I thought sounded cool and I only half know the definition of. So, without further ado, here it is...
Book: Of Mice and Men (Oh the books we have to read for English)
Word: pugnacious
Definition: (adj) having a quarrelsome or combative nature (Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary)
Oh. That's not what I thought it meant at all... Well you learn something new everyday.
New follower through GFC as lucyatmax/ no pic. I did not know that is what pugnacious meant either...thanks for sharing. I however, am a tease and invite you to visit/follow me at bethartfromtheheart.blogspot.com , in order to learn about my word: obsequious.

Followed you back! Haha yeah. I have only skimmed over some people's posts because their definitions were more confusing than the word itself.
