Reading Multiple Books at Once

Okay, so currently, I'm reading three books. Alif the Unseen by G. Willow Wilson, Independence by Shelly Crane, and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I just realized this the other day and I was like, "Woah dude. Woah." It's actually not that big of deal (I'm not mixing up the stories or anything), but I don't think I've ever been reading three books at once before. At most, two. Anyways, I just was wondering what your guys thoughts were on reading multiple books at once. Do you do it? If not, why?
